Matt Williams Jr. an NCAA product out of UCF has been signed by Donar Groningen as one of the title contenders is seeking out to make a big splash in the league yet again this year.
Last season Williams Jr. began playing in the Greek League with Kymis BC. Averaging about +25 minutes and scoring close to 9 points a game in a total of 12 games. He, later on, went to the Finnish League where he played for KTP Basket averaging about +28 minutes with around 14,7 points per game and averaging close to 2 assists per game.
Williams Jr. actually managed to play in the NBA in the prior season (2018) for the Miami Heat as they had a stretch where they were facing issues with their guards. Williams Jr. was called upon as a G-League player from the Sioux Falls Skyforce hence his NBA pedigree.
Williams Jr. comes into Donar as another impact player that can stretch the follow with his outside and inside scoring capabilities.
